POLICE — POWER COSTS
70. Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH to the Attorney General
representing the Minister for Police:
I refer to evidence given to the Standing Committee on
Estimates and Financial Operations during the 2011–12 agency annual
report hearings on Thursday, 11 October 2012 at which the Commissioner of
Police advised that one of the pressures on the police budget was the
increasing cost of power.
(1) Can the
minister provide the annual power cost for police since 2008?
(2) If no to (1), why not?

financial-year basis: $4 590 000 for 2007–08; $5 190 000 for 2008–09;
$6 437 000 for 2009–10; $6 930 000 for 2010–11; $8 318 000 for
2011–12.
