(1) I refer the Minister to an application by Burns Beach Property Trust to develop 290 hectares at Burns Beach, and the WA Planning Commission’s proposal of March 2000, to amend the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) to rezone 175 hectares from rural to urban, and ask what is the current status of the MRS amendment?
(2) Does the Government intend to proceed with this amendment?
(3) If not, why not?
(4) What does the Government intend to do with this amendment and the development proposal?
(5) Has the Government’s decision been relayed to the Burns Beach Property Trust, and if so, when?
