AGED CARE —
TRANSITIONAL CARE PROVISIONS — MARION TREBY
531. Mr R.H. COOK to the
Minister for Health:
I have a supplementary question.
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER : I
have spoken about the wall of noise in which people get drowned out here.
Member for Kwinana.
Mr R.H. COOK : I
ask again: will the Minister for Health show some compassion and intervene so
that Mrs Treby and others in her position will not have to leave the
establishment where she and others are currently permanent residents?

AnswerView source ↗

We are not going to intervene because we have a contract —
Mr R.H. Cook interjected.
The SPEAKER :
Member for Kwinana, I call you to order for the second time.
Dr K.D. HAMES : We
have a contract with an organisation that I regard to be one of the most
compassionate organisations in this state, led by a person who I think is one
of the most compassionate people in this state. I have great confidence that
that organisation will manage this lady's case with the care and
attention that she deserves.
