The State Government is committed to the introduction of a National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).
The NHVR will improve road freight industry safety and productivity through the removal of inconsistent jurisdictional requirements and streamline regulatory arrangements to reduce costs and the regulatory burden on Australian transport companies and their clients.
