In the AIHW report, the term ‘alone’ is the term used in the data source cited. Alone refers to a person presenting by themselves to the service. ‘Single’ is not used by the cited source as it can have an alternate meaning and is not used for these reasons.
‘Provided’ means accommodation that was directly provided by the service.
In addition to the 11,500 clients who were provided with accommodation, 2,065 clients were referred to other accommodation services and these services accepted the client for an appointment or interview.
