The Forum will be comprised of 10-12 eminent persons from a diverse range of fields. Forum members will be appointed based on their individual attributes and ability to contribute to the economic strategic direction for Western Australia. I recently announced the initial 6 members of the Forum and, at our first meeting early in October, I will be seeking their advice on who might be best equipped to join us and contribute to our discussions. I am confident that the relationship between environmental concerns and economic development will be well considered by the members of the Forum. (3) I am confident that the members of Forum will give due consideration to environmental protection in their deliberations and advice.
