I ask this question on behalf of the Leader of the Opposition. I refer the Leader of the House to part 4 of the Premier’s answer to question without notice 1164. (1) Does the Premier’s answer mean that the Premier did not consider the economic and social benefits of the Coral Coast Marina Development Pty Ltd resort proposal? (2) If so, and notwithstanding the Premier’s role as acting Minister for the Environment for the purpose of the environmental assessment, why did the Premier, in his role as the Premier, not consider the broader economic and social benefits of the proposal? (3) If the economic and social benefits were considered by the Premier, will the Premier table any relevant documents; and, if not, why not? Hon KIM CHANCE
