JOONDALUP DRIVE–WANNEROO ROAD INTERSECTION —
COMPENSATION CLAIMS
710. Hon PETER COLLIER to
the minister representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the Wanneroo Road–Joondalup Drive
interchange project and the closure of Drovers Fruit and Vegetables in Wanneroo
as a result.
(1) Was the
government approached by any businesses or landholders seeking compensation?
(2) If yes
to (1), on what date, and which businesses or landholders sought compensation?
(3) Did the
government agree to provide any compensation; and, if not, why not?
(4) If yes
to (3), how much compensation was paid and to whom?

answer on behalf of the Minister for Environment. The Minister for Transport
has provided the following response.
(1) Yes.
(2) A claim was received by Main
Roads' contractor on 19 June 2019.
(3)–(4) The claim is being
assessed.
