The availability of funding through the Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) was advertised in The West Australian newspaper on Saturday, 7 July 2001, and in the first edition of regional newspapers after this date. This is in accordance with established CSRFF policy. In addition, correspondence was forwarded to all local governments within Western Australia inviting applications for funding. This correspondence was sent on 2 July 2001. 3. $9 million plus any savings accrued within the CSRFF program since the December 2000 round of allocations. 4. 2001/02 financial year $7,964,591 2000/01 financial year $8,491,621 5. Applications will be invited on Saturday, 6 July 2002. Applications will close with local governments on Monday, 30 September 2002. Local Governments will be required to forward all applications to the Department of Sport and Recreation prior to Thursday, 31 October 2002. 6. $9 million plus any savings accrued within the CSRFF program since the February 2002 round of allocations.
