I thank the member for some notice of the question. The only
part of the question she did not ask is how many people are going to be employed
there as well.
(1) A total of
$3 882 000 will fund the running of the centre and will support elements of the
Disability Service CommissionXXX ###XXXs prison
in-reach service and other prevention and diversion strategies.
(2) The centre
will be ready to first accept residents from late July 2015.
(3) People
need to be recommended by the Mentally Impaired Accused Review Board to become
residents of the centre. The Mentally Impaired Accused Review Board has not yet
determined specific individuals who reside in the centre at its time of
opening.
