(1) A total of 111 medical practitioners are authorised to prescribe buprenorphine, otherwise known as Subutex, as part of the community program for opioid pharmacotherapy - C-POP - for the treatment of drug addiction in Western Australia. (2) A total of 156 medical practitioners are authorised to prescribe methadone syrup/solution as part of the community program for opioid pharmacotherapy - C-POP - for the treatment of drug addiction in Western Australia.
