The Minister for Energy has been provided with the following response
(1) During 2007/08, around 2,100 households received rebates for gas-boosted solar water heaters, most of which were installed in new homes.
(2) Approximately $1,106,000.
(3) The decision for funding this program will be made as part of the 2009/10 Budget.
