The Department of Health advises:
(a) For 2014/2015, $146,688.80; 2015/2016, $135,852.00; and 2016/2017, $136,137.00.
(b)-(c) Grants are for specific projects, are time limited and also intended to be finite in nature. The decision to not renew funding was made and relayed in 2016/17. Grants are also not designed to constitute the entire financial base of an organisation.
The Department of Health encourages all organisations to have a strategy in place to ensure their organisation is sustainable and viable and not reliant on grants for ongoing operations.
