WA Country Health Service—Nursing shifts
653. Hon Michelle Boylan to the parliamentary
secretary representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to question
without notice 339 from Mr Peter Rundle MLA regarding claims that the WA
Country Health Service casual nursing shifts were capped at six hours, which
the government denied, and new reports that the South West Health Campus has
now reduced casual hours from eight to six.
(1) Which WACHS regions or facilities have reduced
casual shifts to six hours?
(2) Which staff categories are affected or
excluded?
(3) Has WACHS formally issued a directive capping
casual shifts at six hours?
(4) If yes, on what date and by whose authority
was it issued?
