This included $8,050,000, or 7.3%, for direct expenditure by the Department on the State Salinity Strategy. The appropriation also includes $8,424,000, or 7.7%, from AlintaGas sale proceeds for the State Salinity Strategy, pending allocation of the funds following the Government's consideration of the report of the Salinity Taskforce.
