(1) The Minister is aware that the Great Fingall Mine Ofice is vacant and in poor condition and that some of the roof sheeting has been lost through storm damage. (2) The Minister is not aware of any action being taken to protect the building from the weather. (3) The Heritage Council does not have any power to take action of the kind you suggest. However, private owners of registered places are eligible for assistance under the Heritage Grant Program operated by the Heritage Council. The owner of the mine office will receive an invitation to apply under the next round of grants.
