On 16 December 2003 the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure announced that with the signing of two major contracts, the cost of constructing the Perth to Mandurah railway was around $100 million more than the original estimates. Will the minister please provide a comparison between the original estimates and the revised estimates for 2003-04 and for each future year until construction is expected to be completed?
