BUNBURY
POLICE AND COMMUNITY YOUTH CENTRE HYPERSPACE PROGRAM
1156. H on SALLY TALBOT to the
Minister for Child Protection:
I refer to question without notice
1047. When I asked what the minister suggests takes the place of the Bunbury Hyperspace
program, which provides a safe and welcoming place for teens on a Friday night,
the minister responded with a list of services in the Bunbury area, none of
which appear to provide this direct intervention program for at-risk teenagers.
I ask again: what specific service or program does the minister suggest take
the place of the Bunbury Hyperspace?

Contact with the Bunbury PCYC has
indicated that the Hyperspace program is still in operation. I, therefore, do
not suggest that anything take its place.
