(a) The changes to policing in the South West Electoral District will not be uniform across the electorate as this electorate spans both the Metropolitan and Regional WA Police regions.
The Great Southern and South West Police Districts will structurally remain the same and will not be impacted by the new operating model, which is being implemented in the Metropolitan Region.
The current Peel District sits within the Metropolitan Region and this District joined with the existing South Metropolitan District on 1 September 2014 to form a new South Metropolitan District under the new Frontline 2020 Operating Model.
(b)
(i) Not applicable.
(ii) The new operating model was introduced in the Peel District on 1 September 2014 when the District amalgamated with the current South Metropolitan District to form a new South Metropolitan District.
(iii) Not applicable.
