1505. Hon PETER COLLIER to the minister representing the
Minister for Police:
(1) How many police officers are
currently in medical transition to retirement?
(2) Of those referred to in (1), how
many have been in transition to retirement for longer than 12 months?
(3) How many of those referred to in (1) are men, women or other?

I thank the Leader of the Opposition
for some notice of the question. The Western Australia Police Force advises the
following.
(1) There are 112 police officers
currently in medical transition to retirement.
(2) There are 15 police officers who
have been in transition to retirement for longer than 12 months.
(3) There are 72 males and 40
females.
