(1) The Woodward-Clyde report, Consultative Environmental Review - Proposed Boodarie Heavy Industry Estate Port Hedland referred to examines the Boodarie Strategic Industry Area (SIA) and two associated service corridors. Port facilities are on land north-east of the SIA under the control of the Port Hedland Port Authority. It is likely that any export stockpiles will be located close to the relevant export facilities on Port Authority land. (2) See above. (3) The Government contributed funds towards a common-user access road into the Boodarie SIA. (4) $5.322 million. (5) The tenements within the Boodarie SIA and its associated buffer area, and their uses are as follows: No Tenement Use Holder/Applicant 194 General Purpose Leases For infrastructure purposes BHP Billiton Direct Reduced Iron Pty Ltd 1 General Purpose Lease For infrastructure purposes HiTech Energy Ltd 1 Miscellaneous Licence For infrastructure purposes CSR Ltd 1 Miscellaneous Licence For infrastructure purposes Newcrest Mining Ltd 1 Mining Lease For basic raw material production CSR Ltd 1 Mining Lease For basic raw material production Young Bradford John 2 Mining Leases For basic raw material production Boral Contracting Pty Ltd 1 Temporary Reserve For "Materials for Construction Purposes".
