I thank the member for some notice of the question.
(1)–(3) The document ''Women's
Interests Strategic Directions 2011–2014'' was produced by the
former Department for Communities. The Department of Local Government and
Communities was formed on 1 July 2013 and has recently finalised its ''Strategic
Plan 2014–2018'', with women's interests continuing to
be a priority policy focus of the department.
(4) The strategic plan is updated annually for
operational purposes and is available—Mr President, there is a reason
this is acceptable this time—from the department's website.
Several
members interjected.
The PRESIDENT : Order! I am waiting with eager
anticipation to hear the qualification that goes with this answer.
Hon HELEN MORTON : Thank you, Mr President. The reason
that I accepted this answer from the Minister for Women's Interests is
that the question is: ''Where can it be accessed?'' I was not
being asked to provide it. The answer is that it can be accessed from the
department's website.
