The following is a list of public agencies covered by the reporting requirements of section 175ZE of the Electoral Act 1907. While every endeavour has been made to provide a complete and current list of these agencies, two points must be noted, viz: It is relatively easy to compile a list of public agencies required to publish an annual report under the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1985. Agencies which report under "any other written law" are considerably more difficult to identify. Despite the extensive research undertaken, it is possible that this list does not include some agencies in this category. Any list of public agencies is constantly subject to change due to restructuring of agencies within a particular area, changes of name, and privatisation (with the consequent abolition of the agency). For example, the area of Health will shortly undergo significant restructuring which will result in considerable changes to public agencies in this portfolio. Note: In the following list of public agencies: where an agency has a trading name or a name under which it is more readily identifiable than by its statutory title, that name is included in brackets after the statutory title. where an agency reports under legislation other than the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1985, that legislation appears in brackets and italics after the name of the agency.
