I refer the Minister to page 44 of the 2004-2005 Annual Report of the Department for Planning and Infrastructure, which states that during 2005-2006 the Department will “Recruit additional permanent driver assessors to meet increased demand for driver assessments within an acceptable time frame.” I ask -
(1) How many additional permanent driver assessors have been recruited so far during 2005-2006?
(2) What was the total number of permanent driver assessors as the end of the 2004-2005 financial year?
(3) How many permanent driver assessors are currently employed?
(4) What does the Department consider to be an acceptable time frame for driver assessments?
(5) What was the average waiting time for driver assessments at the end of 2004-2005?
(6) What is the current average waiting time for driver assessments?
