MINISTER FOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING - CALL TO HON ADELE FARINA
I refer to the transcript of evidence given by Hon Adele Farina to the Corruption and Crime Commission hearing yesterday, in which she described a phone call received from Mr Glen Sterle and the Minister for Education and Training, made at the request of Brian Burke and Joe Bullock, seeking to pressure Hon Adele Farina over her parliamentary secretaryship. (1) Did the minister make this call in her capacity as Minister for Education and Training? (2) If not, in what capacity? The PRESIDENT : Before I give the call to the Minister for Education and Training, I advise that the Deputy Leader of the Opposition may only ask a question of the minister with respect to those matters for which she is responsible to the Legislative Council. He referred to the member’s role as minister. Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH
