Train services on the Mandurah and Joondalup lines were delayed on the morning of 3 February 2014 due to an issue that resulted from the Public Transport Authority (PTA) operating a PV6 Track Recorder Machine in the early hours of the morning over the Mandurah down main line to record Track Geometry Conditions as part of its compliance with the Narrow Gauge Code of Practice.
