Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development assess the

I thank the member for some notice
of the question. I provide the following answer on behalf of the Parliamentary Secretary
to the Minister for Regional Development.
(1)–(4) Section 9(1) of the Royalties for Regions Act 2009
requires concurrence between the Minister for Regional Development and the
Treasurer for expenditure against the royalties for regions fund. The approved
funding aligns with the purposes of the royalties for regions fund as
detailed in section 9(1) of the Royalties for Regions Act 2009.
