(2) In 2007 the average age of teachers in government secondary schools in Western Australia is 44.05 years. (3) 134 permanent secondary teachers and school administrators (principals, deputy principals etc) retired with the Department during 2006. (4) It is not possible to predict the expected retirement rate for 2007 with any degree of accuracy.
