The Minister for Water Resources has provided the following response — (1) The total cost of the Hopetoun waste water scheme stage 1, including the $6 million in the 2008-09 budget, is $16 million. (2) The gravity sewer, pump station and treatment works are scheduled to be completed in April 2009. The contractor is on site and works are in progress.
