696. Hon GIZ WATSON to the minister representing the
Minister for Environment:
I refer to the 2008 Collie basin air quality study.
(1) Did the report of this study recommend ongoing air
quality monitoring?
(2) If this
monitoring is occurring, will the minister provide full details of the
monitoring program and who is conducting it?
(3) If the
monitoring is not occurring, why not?
(4) Is the air in
the Collie basin being monitored for fine particulates below PM2.5?
(5) If no to (4),
why not?
(6) Is the
minister aware of the health impacts of PM2.5 particulates?
