KWINANA BULK TERMINAL — SALE
828. Mr B.S. WYATT to the Minister for
Transport:
I refer to the proposal to include
the transfer of ownership of the Kwinana Bulk Terminal to Mr Buckeridge as part
of a possible litigation settlement.
(1) Given that
the Premier said yesterday that the Department of Transport is the lead agency
in the negotiations with Mr Buckeridge, was it the department's idea to
include the Kwinana Bulk Terminal as part of the settlement negotiations?
(2) Has the
Department of Transport or any other agency reporting to the minister
undertaken any valuations of the Kwinana Bulk Terminal?
(3) At this
stage, has any specific offer been made to Mr Buckeridge to settle the
litigation that includes the transfer of ownership of the Kwinana Bulk
Terminal?
