I refer to the Governments Response (Tabled Paper 4619) to the Final Report- Inquiry into Local Government (Final Report) that was tabled on 22 September 2020, and I ask:(a) can the Minister provide an update on the status of the implementation of each of the 36 recommendations; and(b) can the Minister confirm that all of the 14 Recommendations that the Government Response outlined would be "considered as part of the development of a new Local Government Act" have now been completed:(i) if no to (b), please outline which of these 14 recommendations have not been actioned and the reason/s for each?

a) The Cook Labor Government has been implementing the largest series of reforms to the local government sector in twenty-five years. These reforms proposals were drawn from the Final Report, but also by other reviews, including the Local Government Review Panel Final Report and the Report of the Inquiry into the City of Perth. The Full Reform Proposals were finalised following consultation. The legislative reforms arising from this process were implemented through the Local Government Amendment Act 2023 and the Local Government Amendment Act 2024 .
b) All recommendations identified in the Final Report were duly considered during the development and finalisation of the Full Reform Proposals, and in the subsequent progression of the Local Government Amendment Act 2023 and Local Government Amendment Act 2024 .
