a) The Premier visited the Abrolhos Islands on the 7 th and 8 th of October 2017 as part of the Government announcement of the creation of an Abrolhos Islands National park.
b) Premier attended the islands with his family, a staff member, members of the DPU, 3 DPIRD vessel crew and an officer from DPIRD.
c) Yes, the Premier stayed at DPIRD’s Saville Kent Centre on Big Rat Island, DPIRD advise there are no costs associated with this.
d-g) The Premier travelled from Geraldton to the islands via boat, so no air travel was required. No taxpayer purchased alcohol was consumed on this trip. Food provisions and incidental boat travel items were purchased as part of the visit. Total cost was $920.18.
