(2) Racing and Wagering Western Australia is currently undertaking an assessment of a major track upgrade at the Kalgoorlie-Boulder racecourse and this assessment is expected to be completed in coming months. As at 28 February 2007 an amount of $140,000 as been granted to the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing club being $125,000 for track maintenance equipment and other minor capital works; and $15,000 to engage a consultant to advise on the potential track upgrade.
