Health Asset Maintenance Fund
610. Hon Nick Goiran to
the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Health
Infrastructure:
I refer to the
parliamentary secretary's response on 19 August 2025 to my question without
notice 554 regarding the announcement the previous day of a $50 million health
asset maintenance fund and a snap order and review into the management of
hospital maintenance.
(1) When did the decision to establish the fund
and the snap audit occur?
(2) What is the timeline for this snap audit?
(3) What remuneration will be paid to Mr Neil Fong
and Mr Michael Barnes respectively?
(4) Will the parliamentary secretary table the
documents appointing Mr Fong and Mr Barnes to this task?
(5) If no to (4), will the parliamentary secretary
support an amendment to motion on notice 10 so that these documents can be
added to the proposed order for the production of documents that the minister
has hidden from the house?
