The Department of Mines and Petroleum advises:
(1)
All projects are subject to the Lead Agency Framework with most projects classified as level 1. All level 2 and level 3 (highest level) projects are published on the Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) website and are identified in the answer to question (2) below.
(2)
(a) - (b)
There are currently nine lead agency project proposals classified level 2 or level 3. Table 1 [See Tabled Paper no...] provides information on these - the lead agency project name, classification and when it was assigned.
(c)
DMP assigns a level of approval coordination service (levels 1, 2 or 3) based on project proposal assessment criteria. Assessment criteria include the project scale, location, complexity, infrastructure needs, level of public interest and strategic importance to the State.
