Medical cannabis—Driving regulations
432. Hon Dr Brian Walker to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I refer the Premier to the New South Wales THC
driving proposals, unveiled in considerable detail late last week.
(1) Has the Premier's office had any
correspondence with Premier Minns' office in regard to these proposed reforms?
(2) If yes to (1), on what date or dates,
and will the Premier table the correspondence?
(3) If no to either part of (2), why not?
(4) Noting that it took the New South
Wales Government just two months to settle on a workable legislative amendment
on this issue, and to make the details of its plan public, does the Premier
retain confidence in his Minister for Police; Road Safety, on whose desk I am
advised that the Cook government's own proposals have now been sitting for
close to three months?
