As an introduction, I congratulate the minister on her appointment, and trust that her usual commonsense will overcome her charming loquacity. Will the minister assure the House that she will support country local government authorities in gaining Environmental Protection Authority approval for roadside clearing to provide cheaper and safer road travel in country areas, where, sadly, the road accident rate is much too high? Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH
