PERTH FREIGHT LINK — LAND ACQUISITION

parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the letters sent out in relation to potential land
acquisition for the proposed Perth Freight Link.
(1) Which streets have been sent letters notifying owners of
potential acquisition?
(2) How many residents on each street have been sent a
letter?
(3) How many businesses on each street have been sent a
letter?
(4) How many
landowners have been notified of potential land acquisition by means other than
by letter; and, if so, by what means?
(5) Are any
landowners yet to be notified?

(1)–(3) Letters were sent to the
following owners advising them that their properties will be impacted upon
under the current project concept alignment and offering a meeting to discuss
the situation regarding the individual property in more detail. The residential
properties were: 13 on Hird Place; seven on Moody Glen; 20 on or adjacent to
Stock Road, which includes Jules Court, Dann Court and Cole Place; one each on
Holland Street, Montreal Street and Marmion Street; and two on Bromley Road.
The commercial properties were 27 on Stock Road, and the corners of Stock Road
and the following adjoining streets: Stockdale Road, Peel Road, McNeece Place,
Rees Street and South Street; three on Absolon Street; and two on the corner of
High Street and Carrington Street.
