The Department of Transport advises:
Port of Broome - Since shipments of water began to Barrow Island in September 2010 and up to 28 April 2011, the Broome Port Authority (BrPA) has supplied 31,852 kilolitres to the island. Shipping agents for vessels utilising BrPA facilities are invoiced directly for any water loaded. As the shipping agents service all industries the BrPA cannot identify its water sales by sector or industry.
Port of Port Hedland - nil.
Port of Dampier comprises public and private facilities. The Dampier Port Authority (DPA) does not supply water to the users of the private facilities. Shipping agents for vessels utilising the public (DPA) facilities are invoiced directly for any water loaded. As the shipping agents service all industries the DPA cannot identify its water sales by sector or industry.
