CRIMINAL LAW (UNLAWFUL
CONSORTING AND PROHIBITED INSIGNIA) ACT —UNION EXEMPTION
554. Ms L. METTAM to the Premier:
I refer to the Criminal Law
(Unlawful Consorting and Prohibited Insignia) Act 2021 and the exemption
provided for unions that allows bikie gang members to use union sites and
membership to continue to communicate with each other. If the government is
serious about stopping organised crime and protecting the community from the
intimidation and violence carried out by bikie gangs, why has it provided this
loophole for organised crime?

I have the definition of ''skibidi''
if anyone is interested!
I
am not familiar with that specific section of the legislation, but I have made
it very clear before that if people are conversing in relation to union
matters as union officials, that is legal. If they are conversing on outlaw
bikie-related matters, that is illegal.
