Since 2004 eight species of flora and four species of fauna found in the area covered by the Forest Management Plan 2004-2013 have moved to a higher category of threat. All species with the exception of the noisy scrub bird were added to the list of threatened species during this period.  These are listed below along with the gazettal date. The noisy scrub bird was reassessed from Vulnerable to Endangered. Changes in the threat category for species already listed are not gazetted, but are endorsed by the Minister. For the noisy scrub bird, endorsement of its Endangered status was given on 23 January 2006.
