I refer to your comments in the Parliament on 8 September 2015 that you understand that the Director General of Health had received the report from Christobel Saunders that you asked to be prepared on cancer services sometime in July 2015 and I ask: (a) who told you that this had happened; and (b) when were you told that this had happened?

(a) The then Acting Director General (A/DG) of the Department of Health (DoH) advised me that he had received a draft report from the Chair of the WA Cancer Care Taskforce (the Taskforce), Professor Christobel Saunders.
(b) The A/DG advised me verbally (approximately in late June) that he had received a draft report from Professor Saunders but that an action plan with staff needed to be developed in consultation with Professor Saunders and relevant staff, following which time the report would be sent to me with a complete package of information.
