SYNERGY — COMPUTERISED BILLING SYSTEM
485. Hon LIZ BEHJAT to the Leader of the House representing
the Minister for Energy:
I refer to the computerised billing
system—customer information and relationship management computer
systems—now in use by Synergy.
(1) Will the
minister confirm that, in accordance with section 68 of the Electricity
Corporations Act 2005, approval for the new computer software system was given
by the Minister for Energy at that time?
(2) What date was
the section 68 certificate signed?
(3) What date
was the order for the new billing system software placed?
(4) Will the
minister table all documents relevant to the approval, including the section 68
certificate and board minutes?
(5) If no to
(4), why not?

thought the answer was odd at the time he was reading it. I have seen that he
has given me the answer to a different question, so I am just concerned that Hansard gets the correct answer.
