(1) The minimum grant principle states that a local government cannot receive less than 30 per cent of what they would have been allocated if the General Purpose Grant pool for WA was distributed on a per capita basis. In 2014-15, the minimum grant is $20.65 per capita.
(2) In 2014-15, there are 31 local governments receiving the minimum grant.
