FISHING TAX — NATIONAL PARTY POLICY
I have a supplementary question. Given that log books and other fishing data will not be required from holders of the new recreational fishing licences, how will imposing a new tax on families actually help to reduce the number of fish caught? Mr B.J. GRYLLS

As I said, I support the policy. If members opposite do not support it, that is fine. I do and the National Party does. We believe that it is a good policy going forward and that it will deliver a much better outcome for the recreational fishery sector in Western Australia.
