(a)-(d)
The Department of Communities (Communities) tenants properties as soon as possible after ensuring they are in clean, safe, and working order once construction is finished.
From the outside, developments may appear complete however there are a number of processes that are required that the Member may not be aware of. These processes occur during the building handover, including rectification of any defects, and essential fire, safety and compliance inspections that are required before a property can be allocated.
On 6 December 2023 confirmation was received that all 7 units at Wotan Street were completed, and were offered to applicants on the public housing waitlist. All units within the complex are occupied.
