MARGARET RIVER BUSHFIRES — PRESCRIBED BURNS
I have a supplementary question. Is the minister really saying that ahead of an inquiry that will not report until after the bushfire season, he is not taking any action to improve risk management for prescribed burns—any action at all? Mr W.R. MARMION

Obviously, I will be discussing, and I have been discussing, this with the department, and if there are measures that we think we can put in place now that need to be changed now, I would expect that to happen; otherwise, the investigation will come out with actions that are required.
