(a) The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries’ response to identified non-compliance is proportional to its seriousness and the level of risk it poses. The Department undertakes audits, investigations and Authorised Inquiries. The approach to compliance is explained in the Department’s compliance framework, which is available on the Department's website.
