POLICE — MISSING PERSONS CASES
920. Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH to
the Attorney General representing the Minister for Police:
(1) On an annual basis since 2008, how many missing persons
cases —
(a) were reported to police; and
(b) remain unsolved?
(2) What is the total backlog of unresolved missing persons
cases since 2008?
(3) How many
of the cases in (2) were murder investigations that were commenced and then
abandoned?
(4) What was the reason for each
case in (3) being abandoned?
